Wabi-Sabi Photos

I took some wabi-sabi photos the other day on the way to my neighborhood coffee shop. Two of them served as inspiration for paintings.

Hi Serena,
Love seeing the inspiration behind these pieces. I'm especially fond of 'Coming Through'. Tell me, what is an Acrylic/Re-inker? Thanks for popping by my blog :)

Ruth, re-inkers were originally designed for adding ink to stamp pads. I use them with acrylic glaze medium to make a rich colored paint.

My book coming out in spring 2013 from North Light will show lots of examples of this.
